The Ultimate Makeup Gift This Christmas!

Well, well, well. Long time no speak. We are back and with a slightly new look. To say it has been a while since I posted is an understatement. I kind of lost my passion for makeup and beauty for a minute, but good news, I have recently re found my love for it. So to start back up, I come to you with an amazing makeup set perfect for a Christmas gift for all them makeup lovers out there. It is none other than the gorgeous 'Pillow Talk Dreams Come True' collection by Charlotte Tilbury. It really is the ultimate gift for any makeup lover.

First of, let's start with the packaging, how gorgeous is it? It comes in the most beautiful, reflective, rose gold box with a flip top lid and 2 drawers, which contains all the goodies. As the name suggests, all the products in this set are part of the pillow talk range. 'Pillow talk' is Charlotte Tilbury's bestselling lipstick shade, that developed into an entire range of products, with the same colour.
The contents of this set is worth £398, but retails for £300, so nearly £100 worth of product free. Great value for money!

Now to the products. Under the flip top lid, you will find three eye palettes and a cream eyeshadow pot.

The first palette is the 'Instant Eye Palette' that is currently limited edition, so if you're after this but don't fancy the whole set, you need to snap this up quickly. It is a beautiful 12 pan eyeshadow palette, consisting of neutral, rosy pink tones. I has four different sections, day, desk, date and dream, to create different looks, or if you're like me, just use a mix of all four.

Next you have two Luxury Palettes, one is the original 'Pillow Talk' palette and the other is the 'Pillow Talk Shimmer Version'. The original includes two soft brown matte shades, one being slightly darker than the other, a champagne shimmer and a pressed glitter. Many of the luxury palettes from Charlotte Tilbury have a glitter shade. It is a sheer glitter that is best used as an eyeshadow topper.

All of these powder eyeshadows are amazing quality and stay on all day without the need for an eyeshadow primer!

Lastly is the 'Eyes to Mesmerise' cream eyeshadow pot. I love this product. It's great for days when you don't have much time or don't want a lot of makeup on but still look presentable. You can pack it onto the lid and blend up slightly throughout the crease. It leaves a lovely rosy tint to the lids with a slight sheen. It looks absolutely beautiful, with a coat of mascara.

In the first draw, we have another two eye products. There is the ''Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes' mascara and the 'Pillow Talk Eyeliner'. I am yet to try the mascara but it claims to lengthen whilst adding weightless volume. Yes please, that sounds right up my street

As for the eyeliner, it is a beautiful warm brown that applies like a dream. It is a lovely creamy consistency but doesn't smudge throughout the day. I love this colour for an eyeliner as black can look quite harsh on me because I'm very fair.

Next we have the 'Cheek to Chic Blush'. This is a gorgeous neutral pink, yet again, that is just so flattering on most skin tones. They do also have this in the 'pillow talk intense' shade for deeper skin tones.

The final product in this draw is the 'Beauty Light Wand'. This product comes in various shades, both highlighters and blushes, but the pillow talk version is a blush shade. It's a warm pearlescent pink that just makes your cheeks glow! Again, another flattering shade.

The bottom drawer has to be my favourite. It is the lipstick drawer of dreams!

First in the line up is the 'Lip Cheat'. This is an exact match for the original pillow talk product, the 'Matte Revolution Lipstick'. I am not usually a fan of matte lip products, I much prefer a gloss, but this is such a comfortable, creamy matte that I am actually getting a lot of wear from it.

Next up is the lipglosses. All of the Charlotte Tilbury lip glosses are so comfortable and easy to wear. You don't have to worry about your hair getting stuck on your lips. They wear off nicely, leaving your lips feeling slightly moisturised and without the horrible scum residue around the edges.

First the 'Jewel Lips' lipgloss, that is a pink glitter gloss that has a plumping effect on the lips. If you're not a fan of those lip-tingling, plumping glosses, don't panic. This is not like them at all. It just gives your lips a healthy plumper look, without the tingling. Once again, this is limited edition, so you may want to snap it up quick.

The 'Collagen Lip Bath' is a no shimmer or glitter, nude-pink lipgloss with more coverage but it doesn't feel thick or sticky at all.

This next is the last of the glosses and my favourite of all the lip products mentioned, is the 'Lip Lustre'. It is just the most beautiful high shine gloss. You can through it on over any pink or nude lipstick or it has enough pigment that it looks just as amazing on it's own for a more natural lip look.

This last product in the set. It is the 'Superstar Lips' lipstick. I think of it as a lipgloss with more coverage, but it is B.E.A.UTIFUL, and stays on like nothing else. Once again, it isn't sticky and doesn't feel thick. It is just the best everyday lipstick to throw on with any look. I actually already had one of these that I am quickly making my way through, so now I have a back-up, woohoo.

And that is all the products in this set. This is a bit of a hefty post but worth the read. Even if you don't want to buy the whole set or maybe you don't have the budget for it, you may fancy picking up one or two products I have mentioned. Sorry it's taken me so long to come back but I hope you enjoyed this, and there will be more coming to you soon.

Thank you for reading - Jess xx
